LGBTQIA+ Rights
The 50-Ways Rockbridge LGBTQIA+ Rights Issues Group researches, educates about and acts on civil rights issues surrounding gender identity and sexualities. To date, the group has worked on a new non-discrimination statement for our area schools, a local resolution to encourage our state to ratify the ERA Amendment, reproductive rights advocacy, and collaboration with local organizations for LGBTQ visibility and rights.

Shop where “All Are Welcome”

The LGBTQIA+ group reached out to local businesses to offer stickers indicating a friendly space. Look around town for the stickers and help support local businesses. The issue group continues to look at ways of partnering with the community on LGBTQ+ issues. Help us continue to advocate for equality for all.
