Immigrant Rights

The Immigrant Rights group provides support to non-US citizens, immigrants, asylum seekers and refugees and their families living in the Lexington/Rockbridge area. We help local immigrants continue to pursue their path to U.S. citizenship, find legal representation, defray the expense of immigration forms, enroll in a local Driver’s Privilege Card program, and provide support for family members of those held in immigration detention centers. Working with the W & L Immigrant Rights Clinic, Legal Aid, Project Horizon, and other community groups, we also sponsor educational programs that promote awareness of the legal rights of all people in our community and encourage a welcoming community for immigrants.
